Yale: The EV-1 Control System Service Training Tape

Hello! I know this isn't about the Unqiue Mobility Electrek but it is about a cool, old electric car! This tape was gifted to me by my grandfather who owns a truck that was made by Eaton Yale. Originally it was electric but has unfortunately been converted back to gas powered.

    1971 Unique Mobility Shareholders Report

This report was for the 1971 sales year for Unique Mobility Inc. Interestingly you can hear references to the future Unique Mobility Electrek Uncar project that wouldn't be released until 1979. During 1971 Unique Mobility only produced dune buggies. Join our discord: https://discord.gg/KSnM3BJa3d

Dune Buggy | Ralph Harrison | Unique Mobility 1971

This song was commissioned by Unique Mobility Inc. Back in the 1970)s, Unique Mobility was well known for its manufacturing of dune buggies. This song references their most popular model, the bandit. The dune buggies built by Unique Mobility took a Volkswagen Beetle chassis and put a custom fiberglass top on. The cars sold for around $3,500 or $22,000 adjusted for inflation. After Unique Mobility stopped its production of dune buggies, they turned their attention to electric cars, which gave birth to the UM Electrek Uncar. You will learn much more bout those in our future videos. Join our discord: https://discord.gg/mMKyXpht
